Unity Logics installed a permanent audio system in the multipurpose gymnasium at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Chino Hills, California. The gym hosts assemblies, talks and community programs as well as sports, so the system had to deliver clear, even sound to a full floor of seated guests.
The main challenge was the building itself: the open steel roof offered very few anchor points. We designed the system around line-array loudspeakers placed to cover the whole floor from a minimal number of mounting points, so speech stays clear from the front rows to the back of the room.
What we provided
- Line-array loudspeakers for full-floor coverage
- Mounting design for a roof with minimal anchor points
- System tuning for speech clarity in a large, hard-surfaced gym
