What we install

Paging and intercom systems we install

01

Zoned IP paging

Announce to one room, one floor or the whole site from a desk phone, microphone or app.

02

Bells and schedules

Class bells, shift changes and scheduled announcements that run on their own.

03

Emergency notification

Lockdown and evacuation messages and tones sent to every zone at once, with visual alerts where needed.

04

Door and gate intercoms

Audio or video door stations that talk to the front desk and can release the door through access control.

Paging speakers, intercoms, cameras, access control and network cabling all share the same pathways. Installing them together saves labor and avoids finger-pointing between vendors.

Questions

Intercom and paging questions

What is the difference between intercom and paging?

Paging is one-way: announcements, bells and alerts sent to speakers in one zone or the whole building. Intercom is two-way: a visitor at a door station or a classroom talks with the front office. Most schools and offices use both on one system.

Can paging work with our existing phone system?

Usually yes. IP paging can be triggered from most VoIP phone systems, so staff dial a zone or all-call from their desk phone. We check compatibility during the survey.

Can the system play bells and background music?

Yes. Bell schedules, scheduled announcements and background music can be zoned, so the lobby gets music while classrooms or offices stay quiet.

Can door intercoms unlock doors?

Yes. Video door stations can be tied into access control, so the front desk sees and talks to the visitor, then releases the door.

Do you reuse existing speakers and wiring?

When they are in good shape, yes. We test existing speakers and cabling and reuse what works, which can lower the cost of an upgrade.
