“How much does an LED wall cost?” is the first question most churches, venues and businesses ask us. The honest answer is that it depends on three things: the size of the wall, the pixel pitch, and what is included in the price. Below are real numbers from our own published LED wall packages, so you can see where your project is likely to land before you talk to anyone.

Cost per square foot
A quick way to compare walls is price per square foot. Based on the packages above, a 2.6 mm indoor wall comes to roughly $275 to $300 per square foot, a 1.56 mm fine-pitch COB wall roughly $420 to $440, and a sub-1 mm wall close to $1,000. Larger walls usually cost a little less per square foot, because the processor and hardware are spread over more panels.

What changes the price
- Pixel pitch. The smaller the pitch, the more LEDs per square foot and the higher the price. Pick the pitch for your viewing distance, not the finest one available. Our pixel pitch guide explains how.
- Size. Price scales with area. A wall 2 ft wider can mean a whole extra row of panels.
- LED type. COB and MIP panels are tougher and look smoother up close than standard SMD, and usually cost more.
- Components. Two walls with the same pitch can use very different LEDs, driver ICs, power supplies and cabinets. Our LED screen buying guide explains what is under the hood.
- Indoor or outdoor. Outdoor panels need much higher brightness and weather sealing.
- Processor. Larger or finer walls need a bigger video processor with more outputs.
- Structure and installation. Wall mounts, flown rigging, ground stacks and electrical work vary by room. We quote installation after a free site survey.
- Spare parts. We recommend ordering about 10% extra modules and parts, typically around 5% of the order, so a failed module never takes the wall offline. Our LED wall maintenance guide covers spares and routine care.

Buy or rent?
If you need a screen for a few events a year, renting is usually cheaper. If you use it every week, like most churches, schools and venues, buying often costs less over the life of the wall. See our LED wall rental cost guide to compare.
How to get an accurate number
Start with the size of your room and the distance to the back row. Our LED wall selector suggests a size and pitch in under a minute, and the LED wall calculator shows resolution, weight and power. For churches, see LED walls for churches. When you are ready, we will visit, confirm the design and quote the installation.
